The purpose of this website is to provide a platform who have concerns regarding French-made PIP implants. We aim to put as much relative information as possible in one place. 

Registration to this web site is free and there are no other fees/charges. We strongly encourage you register and help spread the word. This is a very new website and will be community driven, in particular by PIP patients. Voluntary administrators will be needed. If you wish to become an admin for this website, please use contact us page and explain why and how you can help us.

Connect section of this website is extremely powerful and provides very functional social media capabilities where you can organise events, share your experience, photos, videos and a lot more.

You can also invite your contacts or friends from Facebook. In fact we strongly advise you to do so, the bigger the community here the more powerful it will become.

Symptoms to watch for

If you have any of the following signs or symptoms, you should discuss them with your GP, who will refer you to a specialist:

  • lumpiness of the breast
  • lumpiness or swelling in the area around the breast
  • change in shape of the breast
  • deflation of the breast
  • redness
  • tenderness of the breast
  • swelling of the breast
  • pain or sensitivity

The Chief Medical Officer for England has issued GPs and surgeons with specialised guidance on how to check and care for women with PIP implants (PDF, 119kb).
